APSU’s Basketball Bash slated for September 10th

Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University’s Governors Club is sponsoring the Basketball Bash, beginning 6:00pm, Saturday, September 10th, at the Bud Barn on the Charles Hand Farm.

Formerly known as the Austin Peay basketball fundraiser, Bash ticket are $40.00 each, must be bought in advance. All proceeds from the event will benefit both the Governors and Lady Govs basketball programs.

Social hour begins at 6:00pm followed by a grilled steak and chicken dinner. In addition, an auction will occur plus competition between the coaching staffs, their respective spouses and selected Governors Club members. In addition a challenge has been issued to see which respective coaching staff can attract the most former players to the bash.

Govs head coach Dave Loos along with Lady Govs head coach Carrie Daniels and their respective staffs will begin serving the dinner, which also includes homemade desserts, at 7:00pm.

Walt Heggie Band, a band popular in the Clarksville area, is the featured entertainment for the evening.
