Austin Peay Extended Education offers Fall Classes

Early registration discount on selected courses

Austin Peay State UniversityClarksville, TN – Develop a new skill, explore a new idea, learn a new language, or seek a new career with one of the upcoming classes from Austin Peay State University’s Center for Extended and Distance Education. Register early and receive a 10 percent discount on selected courses.

Preregistration is required for each course.

Computer Skills

  • MS Excel 2010 Intermediate will meet from 6:00pm–8:00pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays, October 18th–November 1st at APSU’s McReynolds Building, Room 101. (course $128.00, lab $5.00, supply $5.00)
  • E-Reader 101: The Basic Users’ Guide to the Kindle, will meet from 6:00pm–7:30pm, Monday, October 22nd at APSU’s McReynolds Building, Room 101. (course $24.00, lab $5.00, supply $5.00)

Tennessee Small Business Development Center

The center for Extended and Distance Education offers interactive television (ITV or videoconferencing) services. ITV provides essential real-time communication capability for a variety of functions. Details are available at www.apsu.edu/ext-ed/itv.

The center partners with Montgomery Rider Education Program in offering a motorcycle rider safety course. For more information or to register, contact the program director, Dee Gleason, at 931.648.2208 between 9:00am and 4:00pm, weekdays.
