City of Clarksville Chief of Staff resigns position

City of ClarksvilleClarksville, TN Charlie Koon, Clarksville Mayor Kim McMillan’s Chief of Staff since her election, has resigned his position.  In a statement from the Mayor’s office, McMillan said;

“Charlie has been with my administration since the beginning and he has been a valuable asset to our team.  I appreciate all he’s done for the City and wish him nothing but the best in future endeavors.”

McMillan nor Koon have been available for comment.

In the release, Koon told McMillan he appreciated the opportunity to serve the City in that capacity and enjoyed being a part of her administration.  Koon said he would work with the Mayor to transition out of the position.

“I will be evaluating all possibilities as we move forward to ensure that the Mayor’s office continues to operate as efficiently and effectively as possible,” Mcmillan said.
