Austin Peay Lady Govs Softball has two more games canceled due to poor field conditions

Austin Peay State University Lady Govs - APSUClarksville, TN – Lingering effects of last week’s ice and snow on Cheryl Holt Field have forced Austin Peay State University’s softball team to cancel its scheduled Monday doubleheader versus Cleveland State.

The cancellation due to the poor field conditions bring the total of games lost to weather so far in the 2015 season to 10 – eight of which were home games – the most since the 1997 season.

Austin Peay’s next scheduled games will be its Ohio Valley Conference opener this coming Saturday and Sunday, with the Lady Govs hosting Eastern Illinois for a three-game series.
