Gulf Shores, AL – Austin Peay State University women’s golf team will open its spring golf schedule when it faces Belmont in dual matches, Wednesday and Thursday, at the Craft Farms Golf Resort.
The Lady Govs are coming off a successful fall campaign, including winning their own tournament, the F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate.
Although all nine APSU golfers will play during the two days, the team will consist of senior Jessica Cathey, juniors Amber Bosworth and Morgan Kauffman, sophomore Sarah Beth Struble and freshman Taylor Goodley. The lineup was set after multiple qualifying rounds. In fact, Bosworth and Cathey tied for first in qualifying, six strokes ahead of their closest competition.
