Austin Peay Sports Information
Sevierville, TN – With junior Erik Hedberg recording his second sub-par round of the tournament, Austin Peay State University men’s golf team climbed to third place, Tuesday, during the final day of the Fourth Annual Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate, played at the Sevierville Golf Club River Course.

Western Kentucky (876) rallied to win the event, shooting a final-round 291 to roar past Murray State (879).
Senior Chris Baker provided Hedberg able support, ending the final day with a 74 and 222 overall and tied for 16th. Tyler Phillips shook over a couple of tough early rounds to finish with a 75 while fellow senior Austin Kramer was the other counter with a 76 and a 225 total.
Sophomore Justin Arens recorded a 77 on the final day while freshman Sean Butscher, playing as an individual, had a 75 on the final day.
