Clarksville Police report Victoria Powell Indicted in ongoing Homicide Investigation, Turns Herself In

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department reports Victoria Erin Mallory Powell, 19 was indicted by the March 2019 Montgomery County Grand Jury for Felony Murder and Especially Aggravated Burglary in conjunction with the May 11th, 2018 murder of Andrew Young, occurring on Post Road in Clarksville Tennessee.

She turned herself in to the Montgomery County Jail, March 11th, 2019, around 8:00pm. Her bond is set at $500,000.

Additional arrests in the case are pending.

On May 11th, 2018 around 12:30am, Clarksville Police Officers responded to the 2000 block of Post Road for a home invasion where a teenage adult male had been shot.

Officers arrived on scene within three minutes, were flagged down outside of the house by the homeowners and were told a family member was inside and had been shot.The victim, Andrew Young, was transported by ambulance to Tennova Healthcare where he was pronounced dead.
