Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Gas and Water Department (CGW) has turned off water service on a section of Greenwood Avenue from Woodland Street to Woodard Street for water main leak repair work.
Low water pressure may also affect the vicinity of Greenwood Avenue.
Greenwood Avenue has also been closed to traffic from Woodland Street to Woodard Street, and motorists will be detoured to Woodland Street, Gracey Avenue, and Woodard Street to bypass the work zone.
The water main leak repair is anticipated to be finished by approximately 4:00pm when water service will be restored and the road reopened to traffic.
