Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Gas and Water Department (CGW) has turned off water service on Jefferson Street for water main leak repair work. The following streets and roads will be affected.
The roads affected are Jefferson Street (North First Street to North Second Street) and Wilmac Street.
Low water pressure is possible in the vicinity during the work.
Jefferson Street will be closed from North First Street to North Second Street. Traffic will be detoured to North First Street and North Second Street to avoid the work zone. Motorists are advised to slow down and be alert to workers and their equipment.
The water main repair work is anticipated to be finished, water service restored and the road reopened by approximately 3:30pm.
