Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department (CPD) remained on scene throughout the night attempting to peacefully resolve the barricaded suspect situation on Sturdivant Drive.
Crisis negotiators made numerous attempts to communicate with the individual and encourage him to surrender voluntarily, but he continued to refuse to cooperate with officers.
As the situation continued into the morning hours, CPD’s Tactical Unit made entry into the residence. The suspect was eventually located inside the home and taken into custody without incident at approximately 10:15am.
No injuries were reported during the incident. The suspect has been charged with Violation of a Condition of Release.
