Clarksville Gas and Water Department plans Dunbar Cave Road area wide Water Outage, Lane Closure for Water Valve Replacement

Clarksville Gas and Water Department - CGWClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Gas and Water Department (CGW) has planned water valve replacement work on Wednesday, July 23rd, at 8:00pm and will turn off water service on Dunbar Cave Road. The following streets and roads will be affected.

The roads affected are Dunbar Cave Road (Acuff Road to Kimberly Drive), Wingate Subdivision, and Acuff Road.

Low water pressure is possible in the vicinity during the work.

The eastbound lane on Dunbar Cave Road will be closed from Idlewood Drive to Kimberly Drive. Traffic will be detoured to Idlewood Drive and Kimberly Drive to avoid the work zone. Motorists are asked to slow down and be alert to utility workers and their equipment when traveling through the work zone.

The work is estimated to be finished, water service restored, and the lane reopened on Thursday, July 24th, at 3:30am.
