Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department (CPD) currently has a perimeter established around a residence in the 600 block of Sturdivant Drive.
Officers initially responded to the area regarding a fight in progress. During the investigation, one of the individuals involved entered a residence on Sturdivant Drive. Officers later determined that the individual has a condition of release prohibiting him from being at that location, placing him in violation of those conditions.
The individual is currently refusing to cooperate with officers. Crisis negotiators and officers are attempting to communicate with him and bring the situation to a peaceful resolution. At this time, it is unclear whether anyone else is inside the residence.
Residents in the immediate area are asked to remain inside their homes until the situation has been resolved. No additional information is available for release at this time.
