Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office investigators have arrested a former contract coach with the Clarksville Montgomery County School System for administering a controlled substance to a student.

Investigators received an anonymous tip that the coach may be providing and injecting a student with an anabolic steroid as part of his strength and conditioning training.

After an extensive investigation, the findings were presented to the Grand Jury who issued a sealed indictment for his arrest.

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a runaway juvenile.

Hannah Guffey, age 14, was last seen on Monday, November 18th, 2019, at 10:00pm by her parents before going to bed. The following morning, they discovered she was not in the residence and called 911.

Guffey is 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 145 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – Investigators with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing Clarksville teen.

Sydny Gabrielle Lyon, 16, was last seen by her grandmother at approximately 2:00pm on April 11th, 2019.

Lyon is 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 140 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.

She may be in the company of a Trae Dshawn Osborne.

Santa Claus visited Montgomery County on Monday, December 17th, 2018 to conduct a preliminary test flight, check chimney integrity, and review his local naughty and nice list.

After setting his reindeer up in a warm barn with fruitcakes for lunch, Santa left the area to search for his own meal.

City of Clarksville - Clarksville, TNClarksville, TN – Clarksville Fire Rescue will present its annual community wide 9/11 Ceremony at 6:00pm Sunday, September 11th at the city’s main fire station, 802 Main Street. The public is invited.

The ceremony honors the commitment and ultimate sacrifice of hundreds of New York City Firefighters who selflessly responded after the World Trade Center’s twin towers were attacked by terrorists on September 11th, 2001.

Montgomery County Sheriff's DepartmentClarksville, TN – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department is mentoring area youth who want to pursue a career in law enforcement. Law Enforcement Exploring is Learning for Life’s career education program for young men and women 14 to 20 years old with an interest in a career in law enforcement.

This work-site based program, that is fully funded by donations, helps youth prepare for their future profession by experiencing fun-filled, hands-on activities. Learning for Life, which is a division of the Boy Scouts of America, focuses on the following five areas of emphasis: Career Opportunities, Leadership Experience, Character Education, Citizenship, and Life Skills.
