Tuckessee H.O.G chapter rides to Maker’s Mark Distillery

 

Tuckessee Harley Owner's Group, H.O.G, chapterClarksville, TN – The Tuckessee Harley Owner’s Group recently took a group ride to the Maker’s Mark Distillery in Loretto, Kentucky.  In what was described as a “hookie day” ride, members took leave of absence from their work stations to spend the day on the open road.

After meeting at Appleton’s Harley Davidson in Clarksville, the group pulled out at 9:00am for a full day of riding and fellowship.  

Their route took them through Port Royal State Park, into Kentucky where they picked up Highway 79 through Russellville, and on to Bowling Green, where they made their first “pit” stop. From there, they headed north and enjoyed a picture perfect day for riding.

Austin Peay State University Lady Govs - APSUBowling Green, KY – Outside hitters Jada Stotts and Christina White combined for 29 kills, but Austin Peay State University’s volleyball team fell victim to too many errors in a four-set loss (25-21, 11-25, 14-25, 15-25) to Western Michigan, Friday, at the Holiday Inn University Plaza Invitational at E.A. Diddle Arena.

Crews salvage third Corvette from sinkhole at National Corvette Museum

 

National Corvette MuseumBowling Green, Ky – It’s been almost three weeks since a 40′ wide, 60′ deep sinkhole opened up within the Skydome of the National Corvette Museum, taking eight prized Corvettes with it.

Construction and engineering teams have been hard at work since day one, putting a plan in place for the recovery of the cars and restoration of the building.

The recovery of the three most accessible Corvettes: the 2009 “Blue Devil” ZR1, a 1993 40th Anniversary Ruby Red Corvette and a 1962 Black Corvette commenced on Tuesday with all three cars being successfully saved.
