Haley Bearden’s Double-Double Leads Clarksville High Lady Wildcats past Henry County Lady Patriots
Bearden finished the game with 16 points, 16 rebounds and two blocks. Although she led the team with her 16 points, it was her clutch rebounding in the last minutes of the game that kept her team ahead of the Lady Patriots. Bearden’s last two points came from the free throw line, giving the Lady Wildcats a 43-38 lead with just over three minutes left in the game. Abby Anderson, Dennis Merriweather and Ella Baggett Among Six to Sign at Clarksville High School on National Signing Day
Abby Anderson is the first Lady Wildcat volleyball player to sign a letter a intent to a university. Anderson committed to King University in Bristol, Tennessee. She was a decorated four year starter at Clarksville High. JK Cummings led the Lady Wildcat’s sharp shooting from downtown with four, 3-pointers. She led all scorers with 17 points. When Cummings wasn’t making threes, Haley Bearden was crashing the boards and scoring in the paint.
