Clarksville, TN – This Saturday, May 9th, Hilltop Supermarket is hosting “Karing for Kenai” Spring Festival. The Spring Festival is a fundraiser for 13-year old Kenai Payes Langley who was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer.
There will be a yard sale from 7:00am until 3:00pm. Hilltop is still taking donations that can be dropped off at the store anytime.
Clarksville Police Department hosted an Improvised Alcohol Awareness Class for Clarksville Academy Upperclassmen
Clarksville, TN – On Wednesday April 29th, 2015 at 1:00pm, the Clarksville Police Department hosted an Improvised Alcohol Awareness Class for the Junior and Senior classes from Clarksville Academy at their outdoor Sports Complex off of Hwy 48-13.
The purposes of the class was to educate teens on the dangers of impaired driving, educate on DUI laws, and to influence a reduction in the underage consumption of alcohol.
Clarksville, TN – On Friday night, May 1st, Hilltop Super Market will hold it’s 1st Annual Country Boy Cook-Off. This event is for local BBQers and is not connected with the professional Cook-off that will take place Saturday, May 2nd.
All you need is a grill and $20.00 to participate. There will be live music, a car show and lots of food.
Montgomery County, TN – Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office reports Brian Matthew Caudle, 49, who gave a Cunningham, Tennessee address was released from Vanderbilt University Medical Center today and charged with attempted second degree murder, possession of methamphetamine and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
His bond is set at $800,000.

Montgomery County, TN – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office in investigating an early morning shooting on State Highway 48-13 that sent one to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Around 1:30am, a man was heading south on State Highway 48-13 just before State Highway 149 when a vehicle drove up behind him and tapped his vehicle in the rear. The alleged victim’s vehicle stalled and he pulled over just before Highway 149.

Clarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville is celebrating our nation’s independence this year with the seventh annual Independence Day Celebration on Thursday, July 3rd, 2014 at Liberty Park for food, fun and entertainment for the entire family.
The event is free and begins at 6:30pm. Seating is available throughout the park and the concerts will take place on the Great Lawn of the Wilma Rudolph Event Center.

Clarksville, TN – There was a sulfuric acid spill in the Zinc Plant Road and Cumberland Drive (Hwy 48/13) area sometime after 7:00pm and the road was closed on Cumberland Drive between Hawkins Road and Hillwood Drive.
The roadway is now open.
A preliminary report was released by the City of Clarksville today of all the flood damage in the area. Only real properties that were damaged or destroyed are indicated in the report.
Damage estimates are expected to grow in the coming days.
