Knoxville, TN – No. 22/23 Tennessee Lady Vols Basketball (10-2, 0-0 SEC) opens Southeastern Conference action and plays its first game of 2020 on Thursday evening, hosting Missouri (3-10, 0-0 SEC) at Thompson-Boling Arena. Tip-off is slated for 4:02pm CT. This will mark the 13th meeting between these programs, with the Lady Vols leading the series, 9-3.
The Big Orange women opened the campaign 7-0, including a road win over (then) #15/14 Notre Dame, and are 3-2 since then with losses to Texas and (then) #1/1 Stanford providing the only blemishes.

Knoxville, TN – No. 22/24 Tennessee (9-2) will open a two-game home stand and simultaneously close out the 2019 portion of its schedule on Sunday, as the Lady Vols welcome Howard (8-4) to Thompson-Boling Arena. Tip-off is scheduled for 1:02pm CT. This will mark the first time these programs have met on the hardwood.
Tennessee is coming off a two-game West Coast swing from December 16th to December 22nd that saw the Big Orange come away with a split. The Lady Vols suffered a 78-51 defeat at (then) No. 1/1 Stanford on December 18th and closed the trip in Oregon on December 21st with an 88-61 victory at Portland State.
Portland, OR – The No. 23/24 Tennessee Lady Vols basketball team shot a scorching 51.4 percent from the floor and 46.2 percent from behind the arc on Saturday, defeating Portland State in Viking Pavilion, 88-61.

Portland, OR – No. 23/24 Tennessee Lady Vols basketball team (8-2) will close its two-game West Coast swing on Saturday, as the Lady Vols battle Portland State (6-3) at Viking Pavilion. Tip-off is scheduled for 2:00pm PT (4:00pm CT).
This will mark the first time these programs have met on the hardwood. It will not, however, be UT’s first game in Portland, as the Lady Vols picked up a 74-51 victory over the University of Portland on November 30th, 1997.
The contest at Portland State marks only the fourth road game of the season for the Big Orange, and their current back-to-back road contests are the first for Tennessee since the Lady Vols played at Missouri (W, February 17th, 2019) and Texas A&M (L, February 21st, 2019) last season.
Palo Alto, CA – The No. 23/24 Tennessee Lady Vols basketball team suffered their second loss of the season at top-ranked Stanford on Wednesday night, falling in Maples Pavilion, 78-51.

Knoxville, TN – No. 23/24 Tennessee Lady Vols Basketball team (8-1) will face its toughest test of the season on Wednesday, as the Lady Vols go into Maples Pavilion in search of a victory over No. 1/1 Stanford (9-0). Tip-off is scheduled for 7:06pm PT (9:06pm CT).
This will mark the 37th time these programs have met on the hardwood, with UT owning a 25-11 record in the series.
The contest at Stanford marks only the third road game of the season and the first since November 11th for Tennessee. The Big Orange opened 2019-20 with a win at East Tennessee State on November 5th and then beat the Fighting Irish in Notre Dame on November 11th.
Knoxville, TN – Tennessee Women’s basketball junior Rennia Davis poured in 23 points to score her 1,000th career point and lead the Lady Vols to a 79-41 win over Colorado State in Thompson-Boling Arena on Wednesday night.
Davis added 11 rebounds to her total to record her fifth double-double of the season. Freshman Jordan Horston also posted a double-double for Tennessee (8-1), scoring 10 points to go along with a career-high 14 rebounds and seven assists. Sophomore Jazmine Massengill and freshman Tamari Key were also in double figures for UT, scoring 16 and 11, respectively.
#23/24 Tennessee (7-1 | 0-0 SEC) vs. Colorado State (5-5 | 0-2 MWC)

Knoxville, TN – The No. 23/24 Tennessee Lady Vols basketball team (7-1) plays host to Colorado State (5-5) at Thompson-Boling Arena in a 6:02pm CT contest on Wednesday. This match-up between SEC and Mountain West Conference Schools will be the first between these programs.
The Lady Vols close out a six-game home stand before hitting the road for a West Coast swing next week at Stanford and Portland State.
Tennessee suffered its first loss of the season on Sunday afternoon, as unranked Texas ended a two-game skid in the series with a 66-60 victory at Thompson-Boling Arena in Knoxville.
Clarksville, TN – For the second time in just over two years it looks like the search for a new Austin Peay State University athletics director is coming to a close, with the announcement by the University that it was narrowed the search to four candidates.
