Blanchfield Army Community Hospital celebrates the Army Noncommissioned Officer Corps

 

Blanchfield Army Community Hospital (BACH)Fort Campbell, KY – On January 24th, 2020, Blanchfield Army Community Hospital (BACH) recognized the history and significance of the Army’s Noncommissioned Officer Corps during a combined Sergeant Audie Murphy Club and NCO Induction Ceremony on Fort Campbell.

Four senior NCOs were inducted into the SAMC and 18 sergeants were welcomed into the NCO Corps by the hospital’s top NCO, Command Sgt. Maj. Daniel Santiago.

BACH announces Four Fort Campbell Soldiers inducted to Sgt. Audie Murphy Club

Blanchfield Army Hospital - BACH - Fort Campbell KYFort Campbell, KY – Four Fort Campbell Soldiers were inducted to the Sergeant Audie Murphy Club during a ceremony at the USO on post September 7th, 2018.

Blanchfield Army Community Hospital non-commissioned officers, Sgt. 1st Class Victoria Romero and Sgt. 1st Class Gregory Rios; Fort Campbell Dental Health Activity NCO Staff Sgt. Javier Velez; and 101st Airborne Division Artillery Brigade NCO Sgt. 1st Class James Rowland, were awarded a plaque and the coveted SAMC medallion during their induction.

Eric Serrano and 101st Airborne Division Artillery Brigade NCO Staff Sgt. Tamika Wilcox from 3rd Battalion, 320th Field Artillery Regiment, 101st Airborne Division Artillery Brigade – “Red Knights” were inducted into the SAMC, a professional organization of NCOs who exemplify Army leadership, during a ceremony on post.

U.S. Army Garrison Fort Campbell CSM Noel S. Foster passed away at home Friday, September 1st

 

Fort Campbell KY - 101st Airborne DivisionFort Campbell, KY – As the Fort Campbell garrison command sergeant major since February 2016, CSM Foster served as the senior enlisted adviser to the Fort Campbell garrison commander for all matters involving enlisted personnel.

CSM Foster entered the Army in July 1988 and was a career infantryman. His previous assignments include Fort Benning, Georgia; Fort Polk, Louisiana and Fort Bragg, North Carolina. CSM Foster also completed multiple assignments at Fort Campbell, Kentucky including 2nd Battalion, 506th Infantry Regiment, command sergeant major and 3rd Brigade Combat Team rear detachment command sergeant major during their 2015 deployment to Afghanistan.

Deployed Fort Campbell Rakkasan troops compete for Soldier/NCO of the Year in eastern Afghanistan

Jalalabad, Afghanistan – Junior Soldiers and noncommissioned officers from the 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division, competed at Operational Base Fenty, September 5th, 2015, for the title of Train, Advise, Assist, Command-East’s Soldier and NCO of the Year.

A total of six Soldiers, who previously qualified through a quarterly competition, participated in several activities. After the completion of the events, Sgt. Alexandro Garcia and Spc. Steven Byone were declared the winners.

Fort Campbell’s 101st Sustainment Brigade holds Brick Laying Memorial Ceremony

Fort Campbell, KY – The 101st Sustainment Brigade “Lifeliners,” 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), hosted a Memorial Brick Laying Ceremony, June 9th, 2014, to honor and pay tribute to their fallen comrades.

Gold Star Family members along with Lifeliner Soldiers took a moment in time to reflect, honor and cherish the memory of these heroes. The ceremony commenced after nine bricks, representing each Soldier and engraved with their names, were laid at the base of the Lifeliner Memorial Monument.

Paktya Province, Afghanistan – Originating in 1986 at Fort Hood, Texas, the Sergeant Audie Murphy Club is an exclusive U.S. Army organization for non-commissioned officers who have demonstrated outstanding leadership and performance.

In order to be inducted, the NCOs must be recommended, pass a physical training test as well as several rigorous board appearances.

Afghan soldier inducted into Sergeant Audie Murphy Club
