Man Shot During a House Party

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On December 20th, 2011, around 1:30am, Police were called to 3837 Aly Sheba Drive about several teenagers fighting. After officers arrived at the residence, they were made aware that a man may have been shot and was headed to the hospital in a privately owned vehicle.

Subsequently, a 19 year old male arrived at the emergency room with a gunshot wound to the leg.

Laquinton Tillman

The investigation revealed there was a college party being held at the Aly Shera Drive residence and Laquinton Tillman, who was extremely intoxicated, brandished a handgun in an attempt to make numerous individuals leave. The handgun was discharged at some point and struck Tillman’s 19 year old friend in the leg.

Tillman was tackled by several people knocking the gun out of his hand. The shooting victim was then driven to the hospital by a friend, treated, and released.

Police took Tillman into custody at the residence.
