Apartment Unit Available under LEAP Emergency/Transitional Housing Program

Clarksville, TN – As of February 1st, 2012, the LEAP Organization will be accepting applications for one available unit under the Emergency/Transitional Housing Program. The application deadline is February 15th.

A determination should be made as to who the housing recipient will be by March 1st. Applications can be downloaded from www.leaporg.net or picked up from the Emmanuel Family Life Center located at 303 Fairview Lane.

Completed applications can either be faxed to 931.274.0929 or delivered to the Emmanuel Family Life Center

Under the Emergency/Transitional Housing Program, eligible applicants must be considered low income by HUD standards and be a single parent household. No other adults are permitted to live in the home.

Tenants will be on a Month to Month lease and based on participation in various LEAP programs and adherence to housing program guidelines tenant may be eligible to receive the following vouchers:

  • Free Month Voucher (Maximum of 2)
  • Half off Rent Voucher (Maximum of 2)
  • $100.00 off Rent Voucher (No max, cant be used with other  vouchers)

City Councilman Richard "Reason" Garrett has gained extensive business knowledge and negotiating skills as the Executive Director of the LEAP Organization.  LEAP Org provides youth development services.  As a licensed realtor for Keller Williams Realty, he is known for his tenacity, perseverance, honesty, and fairness.  A proud APSU alum, Richard graduated with Honors with a Bachelors in Public Management.
Richard is a former active duty Marine, father of 4, and a husband with strong ties to the community. He is a graduate of Leadership Clarksville and a member of Clarksville Rotary, Clarksville Area Ministerial Association, Chamber of Commerce, Clarksville Association of Realtors Public Relations & Charity Relations Committees, and Clarksville Community Partners Group.
