Austin Peay State University awards scholarships to area High School Students

Austin Peay State UniversityClarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University has awarded scholarships to the following 2012 area high school graduates:

Raven Brown, Clarksville High School, received the Presidential Scholarship. Brown plans to major in nursing at APSU.

Kristen Austion, Montgomery Central High School, received the Dean’s Scholarship. Austion plans to major in biology at APSU.

Lisa Caviness, Northwest High School, received the Dean’s Scholarship. Caviness plans to major in biology at APSU.

Chase Damer, Jo Byrns High School, received the Dean’s Scholarship. Damer plans to major in biology at APSU.

Austin Dabbs, Montgomery Central High School, received the Presidential Scholarship. Dabbs plans to major in chemistry at APSU.

Justin Gantt, Clarksville High School, received the Presidential Scholarship. Gantt has not declared a major.

Eric Smith, Middle College at APSU, received the Presidential Scholarship. Smith plans to major in biology at APSU.

Ashley Johnson, Montgomery Central High School, received the Presidential Scholarship. Johnson plans to major in biology at APSU.

Chantal Hart, Fort Campbell High School, received the Dean’s Scholarship. Hart plans to major in computer science at APSU.

Jordan Taylor, Montgomery Central High School, received the Presidential Scholarship. Taylor plans to major in physics at APSU.

Jonathan Snyder, Middle College at APSU, received the Presidential Scholarship. Snyder has not declared a major.

Jacob Robertson, Clarksville High School, received the Dean’s Scholarship. Robertson plans to major in business administration at APSU.

Jessica Johnson, Middle College at APSU, received the Dean’s Scholarship. Johnson plans to major in Biology at APSU.

Matthew Bunton, Rossview High School, received the Presidential Scholarship. Bunton plans to major in physics at APSU.

Isaac Wilbur, Montgomery Central High School, received the Presidential Scholarship. Wilbur plans to major in physics at APSU.

DiAndra Berry, Aaron Academy, received the Dean’s Scholarship. Berry plans to major in elementary education at APSU.

Mary Baker, West Creek High School, received the Presidential Scholarship. Baker plans to major in psychology at APSU.

Joseph Dallas, Northeast High School, receive the Presidential Scholarship. Dallas plans to major in computer science at APSU.

Casey Blew, West Creek High School, received the Dean’s Scholarship. Blew has not declared a major.

Lucas Bearden, Montgomery Central High School, received the Presidential Scholarship. Bearden plans to major in history at APSU.

Lauren Maki, Clarksville Academy, received the Presidential Scholarship. Maki plans to major in business at APSU.

William Clinard, Clarksville High School, received the Dean’s Scholarship. Clinard plans to major in chemistry at APSU.

Michael Rayburn, Unity Christian Academy, received the Presidential Scholarship. Rayburn plans to major in business at APSU.

Grant Girsky, Clarksville High School, received the Howell C. Smith Jr. and Sr. Scholarship. Girsky plans to major in business at APSU.

Thomas Thornton, Montgomery Central High School, received the Presidential Scholarship. Thornton plans to be a pre-dental major at APSU.

Jennifer Williams, Rossview High School, received the Dean’s Scholarship. Williams plans to major in chemistry at APSU.

Daniel Suiter, Montgomery Central High School, received the Dean’s Scholarship. Suiter plans to major in business at APSU.

Julie Flowers, Clarksville High School, received the Presidential Scholarship. Flowers plans to major in English at APSU.

Kaylon Jarrett, Clarksville High School, received the Presidential Scholarship. Jarrett plans to major in nursing at APSU.

Natalia Marrero-Silva, Kenwood High School, received the Presidential Scholarship. Marrero-Silva plans to major in chemistry at APSU.

Academic scholarships to APSU are awarded for scholarly achievement, high class rank and qualifying scores on national assessment testing.
