APSU Lady Govs Softball tournament cancelled

APSU Sports: Austin Peay Women’s Softball

Austin Peay State University Lady GovsClarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University’s softball team was hoping to get at least two games in this weekend, at the University of Evansville tournament, but Mother Nature will be the big winner with the cancellation of the tournament.

Snow and freezing temperatures had already trimmed the tournament from a two-day affair to just a Sunday event, but conditions won’t improve enough in the southern Indiana area to get the tournament started.

The Lady Govs will return to action March 8th-10th, when they travel to the University of Louisville Tournament.
