Clarksville Parks and Recreation’s 5th Annual Fright on Franklin Street being held Saturday

Clarksville Parks and RecreationClarksville, TN – On Saturday, October 26th, the 5th Annual Fright on Franklin Street, presented by The City of Clarksville and Altra Federal Credit Union will take place beginning at 3:00pm in Downtown Clarksville.

This free, family friendly and award winning event is for adults and kids of all ages and will feature safe trick-or-treating, a hayride, costume contests, and much more!

2013 Fright on Franklin

Once again, pre-registration for the costume contest is required. There will be no registration the day of the event.

Contest participants can register beginning September 15th, 2013 thru October 25th, 2013 at the Parks and Recreation office or online at recpro.cityofclarksville.com.

The contest is free to enter and open to ages 0 to 12. Prizes will be awarded. Register early; there are a limited number of spots per category. All costumes should be in good taste and appropriate for a family event.

New this year to the costume contest is two additional categories for all ages to compete in – “Group” and “You Made That?” All costumes must be homemade to compete in the “You Made That?” category.
