Junior Breigh Jones will be Austin Peay’s lone representative in Gainesville.
The splendid sprinter will run the 400m dash at one of the premiere events in the southeast, with nine of the region’s top 10 400m runners scheduled to be in attendance – Jones currently ranks ninth in that event in the NCAA East Region.
Jones is scheduled to run at 12:30pm (CT), and her heat should be available to watch on SEC Network+.
Austin Peay will send eight competitors north for Murray State’s annual event. Sophomores Mallory Crawford, Myiah Johnson, Michaela McGhee, Rylee Thompson, Tamira Wilson and freshmen Alison Jay, Demi Nicolozakes, Gretchen Rosch and Rebecca Wheeler will compete for the Lady Govs at Hamilton Field.
The rest of the squad will be back in full force next weekend, competing in Bowling Green, KY, at the Hilltopper Relays, hosted by Western Kentucky, April 10th-11th.
