Tennessee Republican Party Chairman Comments on Latest Example of Democrat Hypocrisy

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Republican Party released the following statement from Chairman Ryan Haynes regarding the most recent example of hypocrisy provided by Tennessee Democrats in their quest for attention:

“It’s a shame when an attempt to score political points gives an entire Party amnesia about their own activities, but that is exactly what has happened with Tennessee Democrats,” said Haynes.

“By trying to smear Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam, the Democrats are ignoring the fundraising efforts undertaken by Democratic Governor Phil Bredesen in the Tennessee Residence. I realize Tennesseans have relegated Democrats to Superminority status in our state for six years, but it has not been so long that it excuses their ignorance of the precedent they set,” stated Haynes.
