Tennessee Department of AgricultureNashville, TN – Tennessee specialty license plate sales help pet owners have access to low-cost spay and neutering services. Funds from the Animal Friendly – Spay and Neuter Saves Lives license plates go to Animal Friendly Grants, a program administered by the Tennessee Department of Agriculture’s (TDA) Animal Health Division. The application period for grants is open until May 14th, 2021.

Tennessee Department of Health reports 1,228 new cases of COVID-19 Coronavirus in Tennessee, March 17th, 2021

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Department of Health (TDH) reports that there have been 662,715 confirmed cases of COVID-19 Coronavirus as of Wednesday, March 17th, 2021. That is an increase of 1,228 cases from Tuesday’s 661,487. There have been 9,370 (+6) confirmed deaths in Tennessee because of the virus.

F O R T Y   S E V E N   new cases of the COVID-19 Coronavirus have been reported in Montgomery County. The total is 17,881. Ten of the new cases reported today were in the age group of 5-18 year olds. There have been 213 deaths in Montgomery County due to the virus. There were 314 tests given with 34 positive results for a 10.8 percent positive.

NOAA Weather Transmitters out in Montgomery County

This impacts Montgomery and several other counties in Middle Tennessee.
