Fort Campbell, KY – The 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) will conduct a change of command ceremony Friday, March 5th, 2021.
Maj. Gen. Brian Winski will relinquish command of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) and Fort Campbell to Maj. Gen. JP McGee.
The ceremony is scheduled for 2:00pm and will be live-streamed on www.facebook.com/101st

Fort Campbell, KY – Fort Campbell garrison, which serves more than 26,000 Soldiers as well as more than 45,000 Family members, civilian employees and contractors, held a change of command ceremony at Wilson Theater Friday.
Colonel James “Rob” Salome, Fort Campbell’s garrison commander for the past two years, relinquished command to Col. Joseph Kuchan in a ceremony presided over by Brenda McCullough, director of Installation Management Command-Readiness.
Salome will retire after more than 23 years of Army service later in the year, while Kuchan is a familiar face at Fort Campbell, having most recently served as operations officer for the 101st Airborne Division.

Kara Soar Base, Iraq – Artillerymen from Battery C, 1st Battalion 320th Field Artillery conducted a change of command ceremony at the Kara Soar Base, Iraq, July 25, 2016.
A change of command is a military tradition that represents a formal transfer of authority and responsibility for a unit from one commander to another. The passing of colors from an outgoing commander to an incoming one signifies the unit and its soldiers is never without official leadership, a continuation of trust, and also signifies an allegiance of soldiers to their unit’s commander.

Fort Campbell, KY – Col. Mark Faria accepted command of the 52nd Ordnance Group (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) from Col. Marty L. Muchow during a change of command ceremony at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, February 18th.
The 52nd will be deploying in the next few weeks, and Faria’s main focus is on the success of this mission.

Fort Campbell, KY – Soldiers of the 2nd Battalion, 44th Air Defense Artillery Regiment, 101st Sustainment Brigade, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), participated in a change of command ceremony August 2nd at the division parade field on Fort Campbell, KY.
During the ceremony, Lt. Col. Jared J. Galazin, the outgoing battalion commander, relinquished command to Lt. Col. Timothy Shaffer, the incoming commander.

Fort Campbell, KY – Garrison Commander Col. Perry C. Clark will relinquish command of U.S. Army Garrison Fort Campbell, Kentucky to Col. David “Buck” Dellinger, Monday, July 9th, 2012 at the Garrison Headquarters building.

Col. John P. Cook to relinquish command to Col. Paul R. Cordts
Fort Campbell, KY – Blanchfield Army Community Hospital’s (BACH) commander Col. John P. Cook will relinquish command to Col. Paul R. Cordts July 27th at 9:00am at BACH’s emergency center lawn. Parking for the event will be located in the overflow parking lot off Bastogne Avenue’s entrance to the hospital.

Fort Campbell, KY – The 101st Combat Aviation Brigade, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) held a change of command ceremony on Friday June 24th, 2011, Col. William K. Gayler relinquished command to Col. Paul Bontrager before the entire brigade.
Gayler has commanded the 101st CAB since 2009. During his tenure, the brigade deployed to southern Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Under Gayler’s command, the brigade provided Army aviation support for U.S. and NATO operations in Regional Command-South, West and Southwest from February 2010 to March 2011.
