Clarksville, TN – The Lady Knights galloped over the Northeast Lady Eagles 18-9 in their jamboree match up Thursday night. A big first period was all it took to beat the Eagles who scored single digit points in both 8-minute periods.
The Lady Eagles struggled to score from both the floor and the free throw line. They scored only three baskets from the floor and shot 3-of-9 from the free throw line.
Lady Knights Mikeala Smith and Malia Umrani led all scorers with 4 points. Smith also pulled down 3 rebounds.
Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville High School Lady Wildcats held the Montgomery Central High School Lady Indians to just one point in the second quarter on their way to a 21-5 victory.
It was the last Girls game of the night for the 2013 Clarksville Montgomery County School System (CMCSS) Basketball Jamboree at the APSU Dunn Center.
The Lady Wildcats had eight different scorers. Ta’Tayana Outlaw led the Lady Wildcats with 6 points. Lainey Persinger and Aliyah Miller both scored 4.
Clarksville, TN – A put back by Montgomery Central’s Damarcus Brewer, with 45 seconds left, proved to be the difference, November 7th at the APSU Dunn Center in the final game of the Clarksville Montgomery County School System (CMCSS) Basketball Jamboree, as the Indians outlasted the Clarksville High Wildcats, 25-24.
Clarksville High had taken the lead 24-23 on a fast-break layup by Tyriek Cheatham, with 1:17 remaining.
Northwest High School Vikings win up-tempo affair over Clarksville Academy at CMCSS Basketball Jamboree 44-32
Clarksville, TN – In what looked more like a track meet than a basketball game at times, November 7th at the APSU Dunn Center in their Clarksville Montgomery County School System (CMCSS) Basketball Jamboree matchup, the Northwest High School Vikings ran, passed and dunked their way to a 44-32 victory over the Clarksville Academy Cougars.
Northwest opened up the game by getting out to a 10-2 advantage in the game’s final three minutes, powered by back-to-back three from Tramon Moore and Elijah McCoin.
Clarksville, TN – Missed opportunities kept the Clarksville Academy Lady Cougars behind in the last quarter, giving the Northwest Lady Vikings the 17-13 victory.
Missed shots from the field and the free throw line kept the Lady Cougars from completely closing the gap on the Lady Vikings after falling behind 11-4 in the first quarter.
Clarksville, TN – West Creek High School broke open a three-point game versus Rossview High School, November 7th at the Dunn Center, in the Clarksville Montgomery County School System (CMCSS) Basketball Jamboree by closing out the contest with a 16-0 run for a 37-18 victory.
The Coyotes led 21-17 at the end of the first quarter, before seeing the Hawks score the first point of the second period – on 1-of-2 free throws by Cannon Campbell — at the 7:31 mark to cut the deficit to three.
Clarksville, TN – The Rossview Lady Hawks fly pass the West Creek Lady Coyotes 41-20. The Lady Hawks centers got a steady feed from their guards and dominated the paint.
Lady Hawks Janie White, Jemiah Harrison and Jasmine Taylor all scored 8 points in the paint. White and Harrison scored the Lady Hawks first 10 points of the game as part of a 13-1 run.
Northeast High School Eagles hold on for one-point win over Kenwood Knights at CMCSS Basketball Jamboree
Clarksville, TN – Northeast High School used a 7-0 first-quarter run to get out to a lead over Kenwood High School, November 7th at the Dunn Center, in their Clarksville Montgomery County School System (CMCSS) Basketball Jamboree, but needed a last-season turnover by the Knights to seal away a 25-24 victory.
Kenwood had taken a 3-2 lead on a three-point field goal by Daniel Norl, at the 6:42 mark of the opening quarter, but wouldn’t score again for the next four minutes.

Clarksville, TN – The 2013 Clarksville Montgomery County School System (CMCSS) Basketball Jamboree kicked off with the Northeast Lady Eagles against the Kenwood Lady Knights Thursday afternoon at the APSU Dunn Center.
The Lady Eagles got the first win of the night, 25-18 over the Lady Knights.
