Clarksville, TN – Investigators with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) are asking for the public’s assistance in locating suspects responsible for multiple vehicle burglaries on Merritt Lewis Lane early Tuesday morning, April 9th, 2019 between 1:00am. and 4:30am.
Three vehicles were burglarized and an additional four vehicles were unlawfully entered and rummaged through.
The suspects stole a rifle, three firearms magazines, binoculars, tools, camera, hand and power tools, and financial paperwork.
Clarksville, TN – Investigators with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office have arrested one man and another remains on the run after a brief pursuit Tuesday afternoon.
Darren Walton, 39, wanted for theft of property, was observed driving on Chapel Hill Road with a male passenger.
Deputies attempted to initiate a traffic stop, however Walton accelerated and turned into an open field near Liverworth Road and drove towards a tree line.
Clarksville, TN – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) and The U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) have captured a fugitive sex offender who has been on the run for 18 months.
Christopher Dlubac, 38, was wanted by the Tennessee Department of Corrections and the Clarksville Police Department for sex offender violation, probation violation, and theft of property.
Montgomery County, TN – Just days after her family reported her missing, a Montgomery County Sheriff’s Investigator was able to track down a kidnapping victim and arrest her alleged captor.
Gary Nations, 32, who gave a Hendersonville, Tennessee address was charged by MCSO officials with kidnapping and aggravated assault. He already had warrants out for violation of probation and escape. His bond was set at $255,000.
Nashville, TN – Special Agents from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation have obtained indictments for a Clarksville man in a child pornography case.
As part of an investigation to identify subjects in Tennessee sharing child pornography on peer-to-peer networks, TBI Agents began investigating Cecil Roy Kendall on August 17th, 2014.
As the investigation progressed, Agents developed information the Clarksville man possessed and transmitted child pornography on his home computer.
Montgomery County, TN – A Kentucky sex offender was arrested today in Clarksville as part of a joint operation between the Middle Tennessee USMS Fugitive Task Force and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
Roderick R. Harper, 26, of Louisville, KY, was arrested at a residence in St. Bethlehem for warrants from Kentucky for violations of the sex offender registry, escape and other charges.
As part of Operation SRO Fall Fling, the deputies apprehended 9 fugitives, clearing a total of 31 felony and 5 misdemeanor warrants ranging from theft to rape.
Montgomery County, TN – A former jail deputy with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office was indicted on charges of misconduct and sexual contact with an inmate.
Charles Edwards, 37, who gave a 131 West Drive Address, was booked on $15,000 bond today.
“As soon as the allegations were made against Edwards, we followed our established procedure by placing him on administrative leave with pay and began an internal investigation,” said Sheriff John Fuson.
Montgomery County, TN – To track down some criminals who have been on the run, it takes hours of investigations, checking up on tips and checking address, and Deputy Cody Lannom did just that during a warrants round-up over the past couple of days.
Lannom said the round-up, carried out by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Warrants Unit, the U.S. Marshals Service and Clarksville Police Department led to the serving of 20 felony warrants.
Montgomery County, TN – Two people have been arrested by Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputies in a methamphetamine lab found in a Westfield Court hotel earlier today.
Lisa Lejeune, 34, who gave a Haywood Court address, was arrested on charges in outstanding warrants as well as charges related to today’s lab. Her bond was set at $85,000. Timothy Holliday, 27, was also arrested and charged with violation of probation, drug charges and on out-of-state warrants. His bond was set at $260,000.
