Topic: Retiree Appreciation Day
Retiree Appreciation Day begins at 10:00am, with an 11:00am opening ceremony during which Theodore Faulkner, Personnel Processing Branch chief, Retirement Services officer and event organizer, will provide an update of retiree benefits. The guest speaker will be U.S. Rep. Mark E. Annual Retiree Appreciation Day to be held at Fort CampbellFort Campbell

Fort Campbell to hold Retiree Appreciation Day this Saturday
There will be an opening ceremony at 9:00am featuring Congressman Marsha Blackburn. After the opening ceremony, Blanchfield Army Community Hospital will begin its annual health fair. Retirees can receive basic health screenings as well as immunizations for influenza, pneumonia and shingles. The week-long event will be held at various locations on the installation and will include an assortment of activities including a two-day job fair, Retiree appreciation day, benefits fair, golf tournament and street fair.

Fort Campbell Retiree Appreciation Day cancelled due to Government Shutdown
“After reviewing what services would be available, it just would not be worth the time it takes many of our retirees to drive here, particularly when some drive from as far as 200 miles away,” said Garrison Commander COL David “Buck” Dellinger. “From what we have to offer at this time, I’m afraid they would be severely disappointed.”

Retiree Appreciation Day Planned
This event is designed to provide information and updates regarding Retiree benefits and to thank Retirees for their service to the nation. Representatives from more than 20 organizations that support Retirees will be available for one-on-one assistance. Additionally, all military Retirees attending will receive a special Retiree Commendation Package upon registration. Refreshments will be provided. Retirees with military identification cards or a post decal may enter post at any gate. Visitors to the installation with neither must obtain a one-day pass at Gate 4.
