Motorcycle crash on Fort Campbell Blvd

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – Around 11:14am, a motorcycle rider sustained a possible fracture to his arm when a pickup driver turned in front of the motorcyclist.

Raymond Barnes, 28 of Fort Campbell KY, riding a Honda motorcycle was traveling south on Fort Campbell Blvd. Floyd Cooper, 46 of Clarksville, in a GMC Sierra was traveling north on Fort Campbell Blvd.

Cooper made a left turn to enter a business parking lot at 1950 Fort Campbell Blvd, did not see the oncoming motorcycle, and crossed into the path of the motorcycle. The motorcycle collided with the pickup.

Floyd Cooper was cited for Failure To Yield and for Not Having Proof Of Insurance. Additionally, Raymond Barnes was Driving On A Suspended License.

Barnes was taken by ambulance to BACH for a possible arm fracture.
