Austin Peay State University Football Alumni gather for dinner at Hand Farm

Austin Peay State University Governors Sports - APSUClarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University athletes, past and present gathered at the Charles Hand Farm for their annual Football Alumni dinner last night. Led by APSU President Tim Hall, athletic director Derek van der Mewre and football coach Kirby Cannon, friends and family came together to show their support for APSU football.

Former coach Roy Gregory and legendary coach and athletic director George Fisher were also on hand.

Austin Peay had just returned from the OVC Football Media Day in Nashville, where senior offensive lineman Ben Stansfield was named pre-season All-OVC.

The Govs begin the 2013 football season under new head coach Kirby Cannon, and will face both Tennessee and Vanderbilt on this year’s schedule.
