Clarksville, TN – Montgomery Central’s Alexis Hill is the latest player to sign a National Letter of Intent for the Fall 2013 signing class, becoming the eighth player committed to join the Lady Govs beginning next fall.

“She’s got a lot of power,” said Austin Peay head coach Stephanie Paris. “We’re not real sure where we’re going to put her right now – she projects more as a corner player for us. Like a lot of the girls we signed this fall, we need her bat in the lineup; we have to find a place to put her.”
A two-time team MVP, Hill was a Tennessee Softball Coaches Association All-Academic team honoree in 2013. She joins Heather Norris (Clarksville High) and Dominique Todd (Northeast) as hometown signees for the Lady Govs fall class.
“It helps us recruiting in the area to bring in another hometown player,” Paris said. “We hope she’s going to be a big offensive player for us.”
The daughter of Ed Hill and Nita Groves-Hill, Alexis plans to major in pre-medicine at Austin Peay.
