Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University women’s golf coach Sara Robson will keep a local talent close to home with the addition of Riley Cooper, who signed her National Letter of Intent, Friday, during early signing period.
Cooper, a Clarksville High product, is a two-time All-Area First-Team honoree under JT Batson.

It was her second-straight top-20 finish in the state golf championships.
Off the course, she maintains a 4.0 grade-point average and a spot as student body vice president. She plans to major in communications at Austin Peay.
“We would always like to keep the Clarksville kids in Clarksville,” said head coach Sara Robson. “Junior golf is great in Clarksville because the Clarksville Junior Golf Program is unique and does a great job of teaching our kids the fundamentals and how to compete. It’s why we produce great golfers.
“We’re excited about Riley joining us and she’s excited to be a Governor; she’s going to bring some great assets to our program. Her work ethic and determination fits into our culture perfectly; she will use her many qualities to take her game to the next level and help our program reach our goals.”
