Clarksville Police charge Travis Burkhart with Vehicular Assault

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police (CPD) have charged Travis Burkhart, age 23, with Vehicular Assault after a motorcycle and pickup accident that occurred Saturday, July 20th, 2019 around 10:30pm at intersection of Fort Campbell Boulevard and Concord Drive.

Travis Burkhart was driving a 2008 Dodge pickup south on Fort Campbell Boulevard and attempted to make a left turn to Concord Drive.

He crossed into the path of a 2007 Suzuki motorcycle traveling north on Fort Campbell Boulevard ridden by Jeffrey Clark, 26 of Arkansas resulting in a collision with the motorcycle.

Jeffrey Clark was transported by Life Flight to Nashville with critical injuries.

He remains in critical condition as of today.

After completion of field sobriety tests, Travis Burkhart was transported to the Montgomery County Jail and charged with Vehicular Assault. Burkhart’s bond is set at $10,000.
