Clarksville, TN – On Tuesday, September 20th, 2025, at approximately 9:35pm, the Clarksville Police Department (CPD) responded to a shooting that had already occurred in the area of 495 Ringgold Road. Officers located a 20-year-old male with a gunshot wound. His condition is unknown at this time, and he has been transported to Tennova Healthcare by ambulance.
Ringgold Road is completely shut down between the 101st Airborne Division Parkway and Fort Campbell Boulevard. Officers are actively searching for a possible suspect described as a Black male with shoulder-length dreads, wearing gray sweatpants and a hoodie. He may be on foot in the Ringgold Road area.
Residents in the area are asked to remain vigilant and report anything suspicious immediately by calling 911.
Several CPD officers are on scene, and this remains an active and ongoing investigation.
