Clarksville, TN – Evelyn Ceceil Barnes, 85 of Clarksville, TN passed away on August 15th, 2026.
Memorial Gathering will be held 4:00pm-6:00pm Thursday, August 20th, 2026, at McReynolds-Nave and Larson Funeral Home.
Graveside Service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, August 22nd, 2026, at Mount Harmony UMC Cemetery in Heaters, West Virginia.
Evelyn was born in Heaters, West Virginia, on August 10th, 1941, the daughter of the late Pete and Floda Prince. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Barnes.
She was a faithful military wife for many years. Evelyn enjoyed traveling and was a vivid reader. She attended Little West Fork Baptist Church for many years.
Survivors include her children, Charles “Bobby” Barnes and Charlene Barnes; brother, Arch Prince; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
