San Antonio, TX – No. 3 seed Tennessee Women’s Basketball (17-7, 9-4 SEC) and No. 6 seed Michigan (15-5, 9-4 Big Ten) will face one another for the first-time ever on Tuesday, March 23rd, 2021 in an NCAA Second Round River Walk Region contest.
The No. 13/15-ranked Lady Vols and No. 16/14 Wolverines are set to play at 5:00pm ET (4:00pm CT) on the North Court at the Alamodome in San Antonio.
UT earned its way to this meeting by winning its First Round battle with Middle Tennessee, 87-62, on Sunday in Austin.

Austin, TX – The No. 13/15 Tennessee Lady Vols basketball team (16-7, 9-4 SEC) remains perfect in NCAA Tournament participation, earning the program’s 39th-straight invitation to the “Big Dance.” UT is the only school to appear in every women’s tourney.
The UT Lady Vols were selected as a No. 3 seed in the River Walk Region and will meet No. 14 seed Middle Tennessee (17-7) in the NCAA First Round on Sunday. Tip-off is slated for 2:00pm ET (1:00pm CT) at the Frank Erwin Center on the University of Texas campus. The game will be televised by ABC and carried by the Lady Vol Radio Network.

Greenville, SC – No. 14/16 Tennessee (16-6, 9-4 SEC), the No. 3 seed, has advanced to the semifinal round of the SEC Tournament and will meet No. 7/7 South Carolina (20-4, 14-2 SEC), the No. 2 seed, at approximately 6:30 p.m. on Saturday at Bon Secours Wellness Arena.
No. 1 seed Texas A&M and No. 4 seed Georgia will meet in the other semifinal round match-up at 3:00pm CT on Saturday.
The Tennessee Lady Vols will be making their first appearance in the SEC semifinal round since 2016, when they did so in Jacksonville, FL, before falling to Mississippi State, 58-48.

Tennessee (17-9, 6-7 SEC) returns home to host No. 13/13 South Carolina (19-7, 11-2 SEC) Sunday at Thompson-Boling Arena. Tip-off is slated for 3:02pm CT on The Summitt in a contest that is being televised by ESPN2.
Including this match-up, the Lady Vols have three contests remaining during the regular season. The next two are at home (No. 13/13 South Carolina, Vanderbilt) and the last one is away (Ole Miss).

ESPN will carry the 42nd meeting between the Lady Vols and Bulldogs, as they convene at Humphrey Coliseum for a 1:00pm CT (2:00pm ET) matinee.
UT makes its way to the Magnolia State with the momentum of a three-game winning streak, forged with victories over LSU, Florida and Vanderbilt. The Lady Vols won their 10th straight in the series vs. the Commodores last Sunday, defeating Stephanie White’s club, 82-65, at Memorial Gymnasium.

The 56th meeting between these schools in women’s hoops will get under way at 6:02pm CT at The Summitt. The game will be streamed by SECN+.

Knoxville, TN – No. 11/11 Tennessee Lady Vols Basketball (5-0) plays its third straight game away from Knoxville, but its first true road contest of the season, when it squares off with NR/RV Oklahoma State (6-0) in the SEC/Big 12 Challenge on Sunday afternoon. Tip time is set for 3:00pm CT (4:00pm ET) at Gallagher-Iba Arena in Stillwater, OK, and the match-up will be televised by FS1.
The Lady Vols have had a full week between games, last playing on November 24th as they beat UAB in overtime, 73-69, to capture the Junkanoo Division title at the 2018 Women’s Junkanoo Jam in Bimini, Bahamas. UT defeated Clemson, 78-66, in its opening round game on November 22nd.
Knoxville, TN – The Tennessee women’s basketball non-conference schedule has been been approved for release, and the Lady Vols’ out-of-league slate is highlighted by visits from defending national champion Notre Dame and perennial power Stanford, a road test at Texas, as well as two early-season tournament games in the Bahamas.
