Resurfacing Riverside Drive, State Route 12, in Clarksville – Montgomery County TN
Nashville, TN – Preparations to begin work to resurface Riverside Drive in Clarksville have begun. Concrete repairs to the existing drainage structure inlets and curb and gutter are being done at night all of this week. Some work will be done during daytime hours on Friday, June 1st.
Resurfacing operations will begin next week, on or around, Monday June 4th.
Motorists can expect delays with daily lane closures for the next 4 to 5 weeks. Everyone is encouraged to seek an alternate route if all possible during this resurfacing and construction work.In addition, motorists should be alert to differing roadway conditions, along with contractor personnel and equipment in the roadway on a daily basis. Milling operations will begin first, followed by the resurfacing / paving operations, with new pavement markings being installed last.
This TDOT Contract has an initial completion date of September 30th, 2012, but plans are to finish well before this date, somewhere around the end of June if all possible.
