Clarksville, TN – Did you know that September 2013 marks the tenth annual National Preparedness Month, sponsored by the Federal Emergency Management Agency in the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
National Preparedness Month is designed to encourage people to take simple steps to prepare for emergencies in their homes, businesses, and communities. Whether it’s September or any other month of the year, disaster can strike at any time without warning.Flooding, tornadoes and severe storms have impacted our community in the past and they can occur again. Are you prepared for these events?
Come join us for a “Preparedness Fair” and learn how to prepare yourself and your family for natural disasters and other hardships.
The Clarksville Emergency Preparedness Fair will be held Saturday, September 21st at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 3242 Hwy 41-A South (Madison Street), Clarksville, TN. This is a free public event. Door Prizes will be presented.

There will be a Couponing Class at 10:00am. Snow Bird will make an appearance from 11:00am until 1:00pm. There will be Photo ID Cards for Kids and other children’s activities.
