Fort Campbell, KY – Blanchfield Army Community Hospital’s Warrior Transition Battalion invites the community to participate in a Battalion-wide disc golf event July 15th from 8:30am to 4:00pm at the War Memorial Park in Oak Grove, Kentucky.
The WTB Adaptive Reconditioning Program recently added disc golf as part of its weekly activity schedule for Soldiers. The program includes various physical challenges and adaptive sports that wounded, ill and injured Soldiers participate in to support their physical and emotional well being.

“This disc golf tournament is a family-friendly event where the community can participate alongside of our WTB Soldiers and cadre,” said WTB adaptive sports site coordinator Robyn Womac.
The event will also feature music, food and fun for the entire family. If you don’t know how to play disc golf, local and national professional players will hold two, one-hour free clinics July 14th at 10:00am and 1:00pm at the War Memorial Park Disc Golf Course. This will give you an opportunity to learn the flying disc game before the tournament July 15th.
