Hopkinsville Community CollegeHopkinsville, KY – Hopkinsville Community College (HCC) administrators have arranged for the college to offer robust summer and fall term schedules with classes to be delivered online, in-person on campus, and hybrid style, which is a combination of both virtual and in-person.

“We are keeping both flexibility and safety top-of-mind in all of our planning,” explained HCC President/CEO Dr. Alissa Young.

Hopkinsville Community College to hold HOPFAME Facebook Live event, March 25th

 

Hopkinsville Community CollegeHopkinsville, KY – Hopkinsville Community College (HCC) will host a HOPFAME Facebook Live event starting at 7:00pm on Thursday, March 25th, 2021 on HCC’s Facebook page.

The event is an informational session for individuals and their families who are interested in a career in advanced manufacturing and are available to begin courses in the fall of 2021. The deadline to apply for the program is May 1st.

Hopkinsville Community College recognizes students on Fall 2020 Dean, President’s Lists

 

Hopkinsville Community CollegeHopkinsville, KY – Hopkinsville Community College’s (HCC) spring semester Dean and President’s Lists recognized 354 full and part-time students for their academic achievement. 

Full-time students who have earned at least a 3.5 grade point average (GPA) and successfully completed 12 hours or more of course work numbered 100 or above (excluding MA 108) for the academic term qualify for the full-time Dean’s List.

Area Companies Pilot New Hopkinsville Community College Apprenticeship Program

 

Hopkinsville Community CollegeHopkinsville, KY – Hopkinsville Community College (HCC) has partnered with local companies, Hutson, Inc. and Kentucky Machine & Engineering, Inc. to pilot a new apprenticeship program, Kentucky Apprenticeship, Powered by KCTCS.  

Hutson hired Landen Humphries, 18, as a diesel technology apprentice at their Hopkinsville location while Kentucky Machine hired Ryne Hancock, 29 and a veteran, as a computerized machining and manufacturing apprentice in Cadiz.

Hopkinsville Community College says New Work Ready Kentucky Scholarship campaign encourages adults to go to College

 

Hopkinsville Community CollegeHopkinsville, KY – Never Underestimate You!  That’s the mantra behind a new campaign for the Work Ready Kentucky Scholarship, an effort to boost education and employability among adults.  

The scholarship, which Hopkinsville Community College (HCC) began offering in 2017, offers up to 60 hours of free tuition for anyone who has not yet earned an associate degree.
