Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputy Ethan Moss saves a Man’s Life

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – A commendation has been awarded to Deputy Ethan Moss with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office for saving a man’s life.

On February 4th, Deputy Moss responded to a 911 call in the 700 block of Merritt Lewis Lane. Upon arrival Moss found the homeowner unconscious and not breathing. He administered the automated external defibrillator (AED) and started CPR.

After two minutes the homeowner started breathing on his own and was transported by Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to the hospital.

According to EMS Lieutenant Brian McNeeley the man has made a full recovery and has been discharged from the hospital.

Moss is a four veteran of the Sheriff’s Office. Prior to working at the Sheriff’s Office, Moss served in the United States Army. He completed two tours of duty, one in Afghanistan and one in Iraq. Originally from Michigan, Moss is married with two boys.
