Clarksville, TN – At approximately 12:10pm, today, Thursday, January 2nd, 2023, the Clarksville Police Department (CPD) responded to Peachers Mill Road and the 101st Airborne Division Parkway for a shooting that had already occurred.
The shooting occurred at the intersection and it appears that this was a targeted incident and not a random act.
After officers were already on the scene, one person showed up at Tennova Healthcare with multiple gunshot wounds and has since been flown to Nashville by life-flight helicopter, his wounds do not appear to be life-threatening at this time.
This is still an ongoing investigation and no further details are available for release at this time. CPD is asking anyone who may have witnessed this incident to call 911.
