Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Gas and Water Department (CGW) has closed the outer northbound lane of Providence Boulevard from E Street to Peachers Mill Road for road repair.
Providence Boulevard will be passable; however, motorists may wish to choose an alternate travel route to avoid traffic delays and congestion.

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Gas and Water Department has closed the outer northbound lane of Providence Boulevard from Power Street to Peachers Mill Road for water main leak repair.
A water outage or low water pressure may be possible for the area during the work.

Clarksville Gas and Water Department reports Section of Peachers Mill Road Closed for Water Main Repair
Clarksville, TN – On Saturday, December 5th, 2020, the Clarksville Gas and Water Department closed a section of Peachers Mill Road from Bancroft Drive to Carter Road for water main leak repair.
Traffic will be detoured to Bancroft Drive and Carter Road during the work; however, motorists are advised to choose an alternate route to avoid traffic congestion and long delays at the work site.
Heritage Park Skate Park will remain Open.
Clarksville, TN – Starting today, Wednesday, August 19th, 2020, Clarksville Parks and Recreation reports Heritage Park’s skate park, located at 1241 Peachers Mill Road will undergo repairs. Work will be isolated to the quarter pipe and is expected to take 7-10 days.
While repairs are underway the remainder of the facility will remain open. Patrons are encouraged to avoid the area under construction until the work is complete.
Clarksville, TN – With warm weather increasing use of the Clarksville Greenway, the Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department is asking visitors to respect parking guidelines while enjoying the outdoors.
Parking at Pollard Road Trailhead is limited and parking on the roadway is not permitted. Vehicles parked on the roadway obstruct traffic and could delay emergency or medical personnel response time and prevent nearby property owners from moving farm equipment.
Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department is gearing up for spring adult softball with leagues open to men and women ages 18 and older.
League play takes place at Heritage Park Softball Complex, 1241 Peachers Mill Road. Games will be weekly and include the following leagues: Men’s, True Co-Ed (equal men and women), Men’s 45 & over, Co-Ed (at least two women) and Women’s.
To ensure your team gets a spot in the league, a team registration fee of $100.00 is due by February 14th.
Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Gas and Water Department has turned off water service on Amanda Drive and have also closed the road from Peachers Mill Road to Courtney Drive to repair a water main leak.
Low water pressure may also affect the area.
Clarksville, TN – CDE Ligthband reports crews worked hard through the night working on the power outage. Currently, reported outages are at 124 as of 8:50am.
Today, CDE will be focused on many of the remaining affected areas across Clarksville.
Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Transit System (CTS) Spooky Special is back for another Spooky Tour.
The Halloween-adorned bus will run the streets of Clarksville, offering free rides on Thursday, October 31st, 2019.
The Spooky Special, or Spooky Bus as some call it, is a Clarksville Transit System Halloween tradition that started 28 years ago to help residents get acquainted with the transportation service and to thank consistent passengers.
