Clarksville, TN – At 6:35pm, Friday night, March 3rd, 2023, Clarksville Police Department (CPD) Officers responded to a residence on Oakmont Drive for a shooting that had already occurred.
When they arrived they found a 14-year-old black male with a gunshot wound to his chest. He was transported to Blanchfield Army Community Hospital (BACH) and was pronounced deceased.
Detectives with the Special Operations Homicide Unit and Crime Scene Unit responded to the scene and this is still an ongoing investigation.
Images of the suspect vehicle, a dark SUV, were captured on security cameras and investigators are asking anyone with information regarding, this incident, information about the vehicle, or the driver to contact CPD immediately.
Detectives do not believe this was a random act, the individuals involved were somewhat familiar with one another.
