Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Friday, November 8th, 2019, Clarksville Police Officer Jonathan Williams was recognized for his actions during an emergency situation and was presented with a Lifesaver Award. The Lifesaver award is given to officers whose direct actions saves or extends the life of another person.

On September 19th, 2019, around 10:00am, Officer Jonathan Williams responded to 911 call at the Marathon Gas Station at 2088 Wilma Rudolph Boulevard.

Clarksville Transit System’s Spooky Special hits the road for Halloween

 

Clarksville Transit System - CTSClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Transit System (CTS) Spooky Special is back for another Spooky Tour.

The Halloween-adorned bus will run the streets of Clarksville, offering free rides on Thursday, October 31st, 2019.

The Spooky Special, or Spooky Bus as some call it, is a Clarksville Transit System Halloween tradition that started 28 years ago to help residents get acquainted with the transportation service and to thank consistent passengers.

Clarksville Police arrest Man, Juvenile for Homicide on Hand Village Avenue

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – An adult and a juvenile, both out of Memphis, TN have been charged by Clarksville Police with Criminal Homicide in the shooting death of Serdarin Brown, age 22.

On Sunday, October 27th, 2019 at approximately 10:10pm, Clarksville police responded to a report of shots fired in the area of 16 Hand Village Avenue. There were spent shell casings located in the parking lot by Austin Peay State University Police.

An Adult and Juvenile have been charged by Clarksville Police in Homicide on Hand Village Avenue of a 22 Year Old Man.

Clarksville Police are investigating Homicide in area of Hand Village

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On October 27th, 2019 at approximately 10:10pm, Clarksville Police responded to a report of shots fired in the area of the 800 block of Hand Village.

Based on initial information gathered by University Police, an individual not affiliated with the university had been shot in the 800 block of Hand Village, transported to Tennova Healthcare, prior to law enforcement’s arrival, where he was pronounced dead.

Clarksville Police received a shots fired all Sunday night where they found someone that had been shot.

Clarksville Police release update to Single Vehicle Crash where Four Teenagers were Injured

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police had added additional charges to the 16 year old driver in the motor vehicle crash, occurring October 12th, around 8:30am, which injured four.

He has been charged with: Vehicular Assault, Reckless Driving, and Reckless Endangerment.

The four teenagers in the vehicle were: 16 year old (driver); 15 year old (front passenger); 18 year old (back seat-driver side); and 16 year old (back seat-passenger side)

Clarksville Police searching for Witnesses to Crash on 101st Airborne Division Parkway

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police are looking for anyone who may have witnessed an injury crash which occurred Saturday, March 9th, 2019, around 9:35pm at the intersection of 101st Airborne Division Parkway and Evans Road.

The crash involved a Nissan driven by a 37 year old woman, traveling west on the 101st Airborne Division Parkway. The driver made a left turn toward Evans Road, to cross the eastbound lanes of the 101st Airborne Division Parkway, when a Honda driven by a 21 year old man, traveling eastbound on the the 101st Airborne Division Parkway collided with the Nissan.

Clarksville Police respond to Crash at intersection of Ashland City Road, East Old Ashland City Road

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Wednesday, January 2nd, 2019 around 11:30am, a Chevrolet Silverado driven by a 39 year old male was traveling west on Ashland City Road (41-A bypass). A GMC Envoy driven by a 25 year old female was traveling south on East Old Ashland City Road.

As the driver of the Envoy was approaching the stop sign at the intersection of East Ashland City Road and Ashland City Road, she applied the brakes to stop but, the brakes failed, causing the Envoy to run through the stop sign and collide with the rear quarter panel of the Silverado.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office reports Double Shooting at Rossview Road, Guthrie Road intersection

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – Investigators with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) are investigating a double shooting that happened Tuesday night, December 18th, 2018.

The incident occurred at approximately 10:30pm near the intersection of Rossview Road and Guthrie Road.

The victims, a married couple, called 911 to report the incident and drove themselves to Tennova Healthcare.

The husband was shot in the face and is in critical condition. He was later transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office is investigating a double shooting that happened at the intersection of Rossview Road and Guthrie Road Tuesday night.

Clarksville Police report Vehicle Accident on Ashland City Road

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Monday morning, November 19th, 2018 around 9:34am, Clarksville Police report a 52 year old man driving a Chevy pickup was traveling south on Ashland City Road (41A Bypass) when a Hyundai driven by 21 year old male pulled out of Riverwood Place to make a left to go north on Ashland City Road (41A Bypass) and failed to yield to the oncoming pickup.

The pickup collided with the Hyundai.

Clarksville Police release update on Injury Crash on Riverside Drive sends Five to Hospital

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On October 19th, Clarksville Police responded to a traffic crash at the intersection of College Street and Riverside Drive that sent five men to the hospital. The crash investigation is still ongoing and no charges have been filed at this time.

All of the individuals, except for one, have been released from the hospital. The only person remaining in the hospital is Robert Bartz, 43 and he is in Critical condition.
