Nashville Sounds to begin three game homestand against Round Rock Express Friday night at Greer Stadium
The brief three-game homestand welcomes the division-rival Round Rock Express (Texas Rangers affiliate) to Nashville for the first time this season. Highlighting the homestand’s worth of promotions will be another Trevecca Nazarene University FAITH NIGHT, a Bible Bobblehead Series giveaway, Friday Fireworks, a Christmas in July theme night with a Guitar Scoreboard Snow Globe Giveaway and Nashville’s NEWS 2 Saturday Fireworks. ![]() Nashville Sounds open home stand Friday night at Greer Stadium (Mateen Sidiq Nashville Sports Network) Friday, July 11thNashville Sounds vs. Round Rock Express The Sounds open their homestand against Round Rock with the fifth Trevecca Nazarene University FAITH NIGHT® of the season. A pregame concert featuring Love and the Outcome will take place on the Plaza Stage approximately one hour before first pitch. This game will also feature another Bible Bobblehead Series giveaway presented by Trevecca Nazarene University. The first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a Wise Man bobblehead, the second of a three-part series. Fans at the game will have the opportunity to get free haircuts on the Family Leisure Deck in right field as a part of Great Clips Charity Cuts promotion. The night will then conclude with a post-game Friday Fireworks show. Saturday, July 12thNashville Sounds vs. Round Rock Express Join the Nashville Sounds in getting into the holiday spirit during a special Christmas in July theme night, presented by Twice Daily. The first 2,000 fans through the gates will receive a special Guitar Scoreboard Snow Globe courtesy of Twice Daily. Following the game, fans will be able to enjoy a festive Saturday Fireworks show presented by Nashville’s NEWS 2. Sunday, July 13thNashville Sounds vs. Round Rock Express The homestand concludes on a Piedmont Natural Gas Military Sunday presented by Tennessee 811. The Sounds will wear camouflage jerseys, while servicemen/women, veterans, and their families receive $5.00 off reserved or general admission tickets with a valid Military ID; limit 5 per ID. Sunday also marks Autograph Day at Greer Stadium, as a pair of Sounds players and Ozzie will be available for autographs inside the main gate one hour before first pitch. Finally, Ozzie’s Fit and Fun Club, presented by The Tennessean, continues its season Sunday. Ozzie’s Fit and Fun Club is a program for children of all ages, offering unique opportunities and loads of fun every Sunday home game at the ballpark. Memberships are $15.00 and include a t-shirt, water bottle, draw-string bag and Sounds tickets. The team is asking fans to help say farewell to the venue it has called home for 37 years by coming to Sounds games this summer and using the hashtag #LastCheerAtGreer in social media. Following the homestand, the PCL will break for the Triple-A All-Star Game in Durham where Jimmy Nelson, Mike Fiers, Donovan Hand, and coach Bob Skube will represent the Sounds. Nashville restarts PCL play on Thursday, July 17th, with a four-game series in Oklahoma City. The Sounds return to Nashville and begin their eighth homestand on Monday, July 21st, when they host Colorado Springs and Oklahoma City. Individual tickets and group packages are currently on sale.
