Knoxville, TN – #RV/RV Tennessee Lady Vols Basketball team (2-0) hits the road for the first time during the 2020-21 campaign, as the Lady Vols make their way to Morgantown to face the West Virginia Mountaineers (3-0) in the SEC/Big 12 Challenge at 1:00pm CT on Sunday, December 6th, 2020 at 14,000-seat WVU Coliseum.
The venue will be eerily quiet, however, as WVU, state and local officials are prohibiting spectators from attending indoor athletic events for the entire month of December due to recent spikes in positive cases of COVID-19 Coronavirus. Only essential game operations personnel and families of players and staff will be admitted.

Knoxville, TN – The Tennessee Lady Vols basketball team (17-9, 7-6 SEC), which is receiving votes in this week’s AP and USA TODAY Coaches Polls, returns home to host in-state foe Vanderbilt (13-13, 3-10 SEC) on Sunday in a 11:02pm CT matinee at Thompson-Boling Arena.
The Lady Vols and Commodores met in Nashville on January 30th, with UT coming away with a 78-69 victory in Memorial Gymnasium. This will mark the 84th contest in a rivalry that began in 1976. UT leads the series, 73-10, and has won 11 of the past 12, with Vandy picking up its first-ever victory in Knoxville last season on February 28th, 76-69.
Fayetteville, AR – Rae Burrell poured in 15 points in the fourth quarter to pull UT within four in the final minutes, but it wasn’t enough to overcome No. 22/25 Arkansas on road in an 83-75 setback Thursday night at Bud Walton Arena.
Tennessee Lady Vols (17-8 | 6-6 SEC) at #21/22 Texas A&M (19-6 | 8-4 SEC)

Knoxville, TN – The Tennessee Lady Vols (17-8, 6-6 SEC) is back on the road to take on No. 21/22 Texas A&M (19-6, 8-4 SEC) on Thursday night in College Station, Texas. Tip-off is slated for 8:02pm CT (9:02pm ET) at Reed Arena in a contest that is being carried by the SEC Network.
Including this match-up, the Tennessee Lady Vols have four contests remaining during the regular season. Two are at home (No. 13/13 South Carolina, Vanderbilt) and two are away (No. 21/22 Texas A&M, Ole Miss). UT is closing out a five-game stint where it has played four of those five contests on the road. UT is 2-1 on the road and 1-0 at home during that stretch.
#12/13 Tennessee Lady Vols at Vanderbilt

Knoxville, TN – No. 12/13 Tennessee (18-4, 6-3 SEC) heads to the mid-state for a Sunday matinee at Vanderbilt (6-17/2-7). Tipoff is slated for 1:02pm CT (2:02pm ET) at Memorial Gymnasium in Nashville.
This will mark the second meeting this season between these teams. The (then) #7/7 Lady Vols held off Vanderbilt in Knoxville on January 7th by a score of 86-73. That victory gave Tennessee a 15-0 record at that point.
UT has gone 3-4 since the last meeting, facing the most difficult part of its schedule. That stretch included consecutive tilts at #17/16 Texas A&M (L, 76-79 OT), at #9/8 South Carolina (W, 86-70), at #5/5 Notre Dame (L, 70-84) and vs. #3/3 Mississippi State (L, 52-71) as well as contests vs. Ole Miss (W, 75-66), at LSU (L, 59-70) and vs. #14/12 Texas A&M (W, 82-67).

Knoxville, TN – No. 12/13 Tennessee (17-4, 5-3 SEC) will try to get back on the winning track when it plays host to #14/12 Texas A&M (17-5/6-2) on Thursday. An early tipoff time of 5:32pm CT is on tap at Thompson-Boling Arena.
This will mark the second meeting this season between these teams. The (then) #17/16 Aggies held serve at Reed Arena on January 11th, turning back the (then) #6/6 Lady Vols in overtime, 79-76. That setback ended a 15-0 start for Tennessee. Including that contest, the Big Orange women have gone 2-4 since opening the season in perfect fashion.

Knoxville, TN – No. 6/6 Tennessee begins a three-game road swing, as the Lady Vols travel to College Station, Texas, to face No. 17/16 Texas A&M at 6:10pm CT (7:10pm ET) on Thursday, January 11th, 2018.
The Lady Vols’ match-up with Texas A&M is the first of four straight UT contests vs. teams ranked in the AP Top 20. The Lady Vols and Aggies will be meeting for the 11th time overall and third time in College Station during the series.
The Lady Vols will be aiming to go 16-0 for only the fourth occasion in school history and for the first time during the Holly Warlick era. The last time Tennessee began a season 16-0, the Lady Vols extended the streak to 18 games before finally falling during the 2005-06 season en route to a 31-5 overall record and an Elite Eight finish.

The last time the Lady Vols appeared in a game on The Summitt, Holly Warlick‘s squad upended #2/4 Texas, 82-75, on December 10th.
UT has gone 3-0 in road games since that victory over the Longhorns, taking care of Long Beach State (90-61) on December 17th, #18/24 Stanford (83-71) on December 21st and Kentucky (63-49) on December 31st.
