Clarksville Police Lt. Stephen Warren Recipient of the Tennessee Office of Homeland Security First Responder Award

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Friday, September 13th, 2013, Lt. Stephen Warren of the Clarksville Police Department was recognized as the recipient of this year’s Tennessee Office of Homeland Security First Responder Award.

Lt. Warren was nominated by Jerry Buchanan from the Montgomery County Emergency Management Agency.

In the nomination form, Jerry Buchanan says the following about Lt. Warren:

“It is with great pleasure to nominate Stephen Warren for all his hard work and dedication to Clarksville/Montgomery County and Homeland Security District 7.

Lt. Warren is the Homeland Security Coordinator for the Clarksville Police Department as well as the Off-Duty Job Coordinator, the New Providence Precinct Project Manager and a member of the Animal Control Board as the Chief’s representative.

Lt. Warren has been a faithful participant at District 7’s weekly Homeland Security meetings and he brings valuable information each week to keep all agencies informed and up to speed on situations occurring in the city. This past year he was instrumental in coordinating with Fort Campbell on an Active Shooter/VED/Mass Casualty Exercise that involved 19 emergency services agencies in Tennessee and Kentucky including 7 agencies in District 7.

Lt. Warren works frequently with the Tennessee Fusion Center sharing information that flows both to and from the Fusion Center. Steve helps the rest of us be prepared to protect all the citizens in District 7.”
